Career

Drawing on his broad experience from prior government service as a district court judge, Simon Yu advises clients on complex litigation, international arbitration, and strategic business resolutions. His practice centers on high-stakes disputes arising from large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, with particular depth in EPC-related matters involving power plants, LNG facilities, and other major construction developments. Simon regularly represents international contractors and project stakeholders in construction disputes, international arbitration proceedings, engineering accident investigations, and procurement-related controversies, supporting clients throughout the full project lifecycle.

In addition to his energy and EPC practice, Simon has advised clients in high-tech patent disputes involving semiconductor processes, optical technologies, and other advanced manufacturing sectors, as well as complex multinational litigations concerning trade secret protection and white-collar issues. His recent representation in a nationwide food fraud scandal earned him recognition as one of the few leading lawyers in the field of large-scale risk management.
