With more than 20 years of experience, Undine von Diemar advises clients across all industry sectors on their most critical data protection matters, including incident response, internal investigations, international data transfers, and global compliance projects. She represents clients in proceedings before authorities and courts and has a strong track record advising clients on data protection issues in M&A transactions. Undine leads Jones Day's European and the German Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Practice.

Undine advises companies comprehensively on new AI, data and cybersecurity regulations, such as the Data Act, AI Act, Digital Services Act (DSA), Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), the Network Information Security Directive 2 (NIS2) and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Another focus of her work are technology transactions, including IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing.

Among the clients that Undine is advising on all relevant aspects of EU data protection law and the new EU AI, data and cybersecurity regulations, are well-known international technology companies and cloud service providers, such as SAP, WiseTech Global, BlackBerry and Recorded Future, globally acting semiconductor and storage solutions companies as well as banks and FinTech companies, life science and energy companies. Undine is also advising ICANN in Europe and globally.
