A specialist in Civil Procedural Law, the partner is coordinates the Corporate Civil Litigation Department in São Paulo. With over 20 years of experience in the field, he also leads the firm’s pro bono initiatives.

Repeatedly recognized by Análise Advocacia and by leading national and international rankings as one of Brazil’s most admired lawyers across various practice areas, he has a distinguished and well-established track record in his specialties. Gustavo was also the recipient of the Client Choice Awards – International Law Office (ILO) in the Mergers and Acquisitions category (Brazil).

In the academic field, he is the author of the books Participatory Judge: A Democratic Way to Conduct Proceedings (Saraiva, 2014) and The New Structuring of Proceedings (RT, 2020), in addition to several articles focused on Civil Procedural Law and litigation management.
