Razzaq Ahmed is an associate in Brown Rudnick’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Brand & Reputation Management group in London. He specialises in high-stakes claimant-side and defendant-side disputes, and acts for both businesses and individuals. Razzaq has particular experience advising global institutional clients on securities fraud litigation under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA). His notable recent experience includes advising over 200 global institutional investors (and over 1,000 funds) in high-profile litigation against Standard Chartered plc, in relation to international bribery allegations and breaches of international banking sanctions regulations. In particular he has been lauded for using technology in case management, being “capable of absorbing and analysing a great deal of detail” and whose “analytical skills and judgment inspire confidence.”
