Elena Rey heads the firm’s Litigation Funding group and is a co-head of the European Special Situations team. Elena represents funders, private equity funds, family offices, law firms and claimants on complex cross border litigation funding, investment & special situations transactions, and is recognised by The Legal 500 as a leader in the litigation funding space.

Elena is a founder of the Firm’s annual European Litigation Funding conference held in London, as well as the Litigation Funding industry working group, which was created with the aim of preparing model documentation for the litigation funding market. Elena is also a co-author of the Loan Market Association book on real estate finance.
