Andrej Kormuth

Recognised by multiple legal and industry publications for his pragmatic and client-oriented approach, Andrej Kormuth has extensive experience guiding clients on the most innovative and significant Middle Eastern and African deals, including the latest wave of Middle Eastern infrastructure (social infrastructure, transport and healthcare), conventional and renewable power, water and waste water deals. Having been resident in both Dubai and Doha since 2011 and prior to that working in South Africa, Andrej possesses a deep and varied pool of deal experience across the MENA region.  He frequently navigates clients through complex cross-sector issues, including with respect to corporate project structuring, infrastructure M&As and IPOs, dispute mediation and resolution, regulatory structuring, and procurement tender programmes.

Shayan Najib

Shayan Najib is an English Law qualified solicitor who advises clients on a range of commercial projects and financings. He has represented lenders and borrowers on syndicated and bilateral conventional, and Shari’a compliant co-financings, including general lending, project finance, ECA and real estate finance. In addition, he has been involved with several prominent restructurings in the region.

Patricia Tiller

Patricia Tiller is a leading LNG lawyer with more than two decades of front-line experience guiding sophisticated clients through every phase of complex energy and infrastructure projects. She advises governments, sponsors, developers, financiers and international contractors on the structuring, development and execution of high-value LNG import and export projects, as well as on the establishment of robust regulatory regimes for LNG receiving, processing and downstream natural gas distribution. Recognized for her commercial acumen and deep sector insight, Patricia has helped shape transformational LNG projects across six continents. Her practice spans the full suite of LNG agreements, including long-term LNG sale and purchase agreements, LNG time charter parties, and terminal use arrangements for both import and export facilities. She has been a key advisor on multiple first-of-their-kind projects, both floating and onshore, helping clients navigate novel commercial structures, technical interfaces and cross-border risk profiles.

Christopher R. Williams

Being resident in the UAE since 2008, Chris Williams uses his keen understanding of the region to guide his leadership of Bracewell’s Dubai office, as well as his own active corporate practice. Chris has particular experience in advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, complex commercial contracts and corporate advisory work, as well as experience advising on labour and employment matters (contentious and non-contentious), and managing litigation disputes in the UAE. His practice includes acting for manufacturers, energy companies, defence contractors, media and entertainment companies, IT and software companies, recruitment businesses and professional services companies including law firms and accountants.
