Erika López is a corporate partner in Baker McKenzie's Chicago office and a member of the Firm's North America Transactional Practice Group and the Global Private Equity Practice Group.

Erika's practice has garnered a variety of accolades, including being named as a 2025 "40 Under 40" honoree by Bloomberg Law, being recognized as "Ones to Watch in Mergers and Acquisitions" by Best Lawyers, and receiving the 2020 "Top Lawyers Under 40" Award from the Hispanic National Bar Association.

Erika advises private equity sponsors, private companies and public companies on a variety of complex transactional matters, including leveraged buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions, stock and asset purchases, carve-out transactions, divestitures, and minority investments. Erika also counsels clients on corporate governance and other general corporate matters.
