Nam-Ake joined Baker McKenzie in 2008. He is a lead partner in the Employment & Compensation Practice Group in Bangkok with experience not only in employment laws but also corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, environment and trade regulations. Nam-Ake advises on a wide range of employment matters from day-to-day advice to complex employment aspects of M&As and corporate reorganization, often involving high profile cases and transactions. He is advisor to many cutting-edge technology players and pioneers of modern working practices. Nam-Ake is also a lead partner in the Sustainability Group, advising clients on ESG and Sustainability concerns with particular emphasis on social and governance aspects of the ESG.

Practice focus

Nam-Ake assists clients extensively regarding all employment aspects of M&As and transactions. He is a lead lawyer, conducting and supervising employment due diligence work to help clients identify any potential issues or deal breakers in the proposed transactions. He has considerable experience guiding clients through various emerging trends impacting employers and shaping the future of work, such as global mobility and diversity and inclusion, as well as flexible workforce and workplace redesign. He also assists clients to comply with new ESG compliance risks, including advising on human rights issues and human rights due diligence.
