Career

Pattaraphan is a partner in Baker McKenzie Thailand’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group, advising major clients on various legal issues relating to Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT), including data protection, cybersecurity, digital platforms, artificial intelligence (AI), telecommunications and broadcasting, cloud and data center services, IT System and software licensing, cross-border transfer, gaming, gambling, e-commerce online advertisement and online content, online consumer protection, digital trade, emerging technologies laws, and commercial and transactional IP.

She advises major domestic and international clients on a wide range of legal issues, including:

Data Protection & Cybersecurity: PDPA compliance, privacy governance, cross-border data transfers, and data monetization schemes. Digital Platforms & Emerging Technologies: AI governance, platform liability, digital trade, and online consumer protection. Telecommunications & Broadcasting: Regulatory compliance, licensing, and infrastructure development. IT Systems & Software Licensing: Vendor due diligence, contract review, and dispute resolution. E-Commerce & Online Content: Gaming, gambling, advertising, content moderation, and consumer rights.

Before joining Baker McKenzie, Pattaraphan worked at the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) as a legal officer. Pattaraphan is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E). During the previous years, Pattaraphan held a position as a sub-committee member to the Personal Data Protection Committee, where she provided legal commentary on government policies and draft laws pertaining to the PDPA. In addition, she contributed feedback on various Thai laws including AI draft laws, the Digital Platform Decree, and Draft Platform Economy Laws, and oversees the implementation of corporate privacy structures and data monetization schemes. She is a visiting lecturer at Thammasat University and Bangkok University.
