Senior Associate

Chanaporn Anurukwongkul joined Baker McKenzie’s Bangkok office in 2017 and is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group. She advises on a broad range of data privacy, technology, and IP/IT commercial matters, with a particular focus on the banking, financial services, and insurance sectors. Chanaporn is a frequent writer and speaker on technology regulatory regime and serves as a mentor for the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) Annual Hackathon.

Chanaporn focuses on data protection and privacy, Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, technology-related crime, e-commerce, digital platform liability, content moderation, cloud computing, IT outsourcing, and software licensing. She advises banks, financial institutions, insurers, and technology companies on regulatory compliance, product launches, and digital transformation initiatives in Thailand. Her experience includes leading data privacy compliance project, conducting regulatory reviews, developing compliance strategies, and structuring contractual frameworks for technology‑driven projects, including a nationwide data‑sharing platform designed to combat fraud in the securities industry.
