Panyavith is a partner in the Bangkok office and a key partner in the Firm’s Corporate and M&A Practice Group. He advises major local and multinational clients on complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures and restructurings, particularly in highly regulated sectors such as healthcare, chemical and automotive. He is also active in the Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) Industry Group and co-leads Baker McKenzie’s HLS Industry Group in Thailand, as well as sits on the Asia Pacific HLS Steering Committee, contributing to regional client strategy and market priorities.

Panyavith has built a strong track record leading some of the Firm’s most significant and complex M&A transactions in Thailand and globally, including large-scale, high-value and award-winning deals. Clients appreciate his expertise in navigating intricate regulatory, commercial and structural issues, while delivering innovative, pragmatic solutions that advance clients’ strategic objectives.

A market pioneer, he was among the first practitioners in Thailand to advise on the legal and contractual framework for venture capital investments, acting for one of the earliest major global early-stage venture capital funds to invest systematically in the country.
