Aue-angkul Santirongyuth joined Baker McKenzie’s Bangkok office in 2017 and is currently a Senior Associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group. He has extensive experience advising on a broad range of telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT) matters, as well as commercial and transactional intellectual property issues. Aue-angkul is recognized for his ability to navigate complex, fast‑evolving regulatory and commercial landscapes, particularly where emerging technologies, new business models, and laws intersect.

Aue-angkul focuses on complex technology‑driven matters, including enterprise software licensing and implementation projects in the banking and the oil and gas industry, where Aue-angkul has strong expertise and experience in structuring, drafting, and negotiating software-related arrangements. He regularly advises on data protection, AI‑related legal issues, digital platforms (covering social media, online travel agency (OTA), etc.), platform liability, content moderation, gambling, video game, esports, consumer protection, and cybersecurity.

Aue-angkul’s key experiences in the area of data protection practice are broad, ranging from pre-litigation compliance plan to ongoing litigation, particularly leading large‑scale data protection compliance projects for both multinational and local clients across a wide range of industries, including automotive, banking, insurance, healthcare, and technology, with particular expertise in handling complex multi-jurisdictional cross-border data transfer projects.
