Position
Pamela joined Baker McKenzie's Energy, Mining & Infrastructure Practice Group (Projects) in 2016. She has a solid industry expertise, with over four years of experience advising companies in cross-border transactions involving energy and infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisition, project development including regulatory and finance matters, as well as in government contracting.
Prior to joining the Firm, Pamela worked in the Banking & Finance Practice, where she acquired experience on project finance and the negotiation of domestic credits, as well as in banking and financial regulatory issues.
Career
She focuses her practice in the energy and infrastructure sector, as well as in the real estate matters that involves the development of major projects. Pamela specializes in mergers and acquisitions, as well as in the development and finance of major projects: these include oil and gas, petrochemicals, power, mining and infrastructure projects.
She frequently advices the development, construction, operation and maintenance of energy and infrastructure projects, and provides legal advice in regulatory issues. Pamela also has provided legal advice in connection with real estate and infrastructure due diligence for several companies, including title search reports, land use and zoning permitting, agrarian advice and other activities related to the development, acquisition, sale or lease of real estate for major projects.
Finally, due to the nature of her practice, she has broad experience advising clients in government contracting, public bids and contracts, including public works, concessions and PPP projects.
