Miranda Green

With over 25 years’ post-qualification experience, Miranda covers all aspects of family law matters. She has a particular focus on financial settlements especially those involving international issues, pre and post-nuptial agreements and private children issues arising from divorces. Often working with high net worth individuals, her experience in cohabitation, family-run businesses and tax and trusts also distinguishes Miranda as a true family law specialist. She works closely with clients to help them navigate and mitigate any challenges they may be facing, recognising that family law is a sensitive and deeply bespoke service, with each individual having their own personal concerns and objectives. Being a strong litigator, Miranda always tries to resolve conflict out of court through arbitration or mediation. She is an accredited Resolution Specialist, a trained mediator, and qualified as a collaborative lawyer in 2009. Miranda joined Levison Meltzer Pigott as a Partner in 2025.

Alison Hayes

Handles complex financial remedy cases together with all aspects and types of work involving children, often with an international element, managing a high level of emotion. Alison is experienced at drawing up all types of agreements, between people wishing to regulate their relationships, whether married or not. Alison does not need to litigate; she is a Resolution accredited mediator, and is also able to directly consult with children in mediation. She is a collaborative lawyer working in both London and Kent.

Lucy Hoare

Lucy joined Levison Meltzer Pigott LLP in December 2022, having qualified as a Solicitor in 2016. She was promoted to partner in 2026.Specialising in the resolution of family law matters upon divorce and separation, Lucy advises on the full range of family matters including financial disputes, divorce and civil partnership dissolution, cohabitation disputes and Schedule 1 applications, as well as enforcement in these cases as appropriate. She specialises in high-net-worth cases often representing individuals in business and the media and entertainment industries and their spouses/partners. Her cases frequently have an international element and involve intricate financial arrangements including trusts.She also advises on and drafts pre and post nuptial agreements and has advised on nuptial agreements being entered in to in other jurisdictions.Lucy has significant experience in children matters including contact, shared care arrangements, prohibited steps orders, specific issue orders, removal from the jurisdiction and cases involving relocation.Lucy prides herself on her ability to build personal relationships with her clients, helping them reach agreement outside of the court arena wherever possible. Lucy also has significant experience of litigation and is able to provide robust representation when necessary. When it comes to enforcement, she has experience of enforcing financial orders including applications for passport orders and judgment summons.Lucy is a member of Resolution and a mentor for law students as part of the Kent Law School Professional Mentor Scheme.

Jeremy Levison

Over 30 years’ experience in dealing with high-net-worth complex financial settlements. Contact with family lawyers worldwide assists in the successful resolution of a significant proportion of his cases that have an international dimension. Trained collaborative lawyer. Recent reported cases include: G v G [2012] EWHC 167; Miller v Miller; McFarlane v McFarlane [2006] UKHL; Re S (unmarried parents: financial provision) [2006] EWCA Civ 479.

Simon Pigott

Founding partner specialising in all aspects of divorce and family law, including complex financial issues and children. Accredited and practising family mediator, a qualified and practising collaborative lawyer and has a special interest in resolving disputes concerning children. Contributor ‘Rayden and Jackson on Divorce and Family Matters’, 17th ed. Has lectured for the College of Law and was one of the first family law mediators trained by the Family Mediators Association. Chair of the Association 1995 and 1997, and vice-chair of the United Kingdom College of Family Mediators 1996 and 1998. Simon was shortlisted for the prestigious Family Law Awards 2014 in ‘Family Law ADR Practitioner of the Year’ category. In 2015 he was nominated as one of the best family lawyers in London for the Family Law Index, published by Spear’s, a magazine for high-net-worth individuals and their advisors.
