Since 2000 Kate has specialised in Jersey commercial and corporate law in particular advising upon commercial property holding structures, banking and finance, Sharia’ compliant structures, investment vehicles and regulatory matters.

In particular her practice has focused primarily upon collective investment funds, from large quasi-retail open ended highly regulated funds to very private schemes advising upon the structure, regulation and corporate governance of the schemes and their related functionaries.

In addition to her funds and regulatory practice, Kate leads a banking team advising on large corporate borrowing transactions predominantly relating to commercial real estate groups.

Kate was sworn in as an Advocate to the Royal Court of Jersey in November 2017 and became a partner of Voisin Law in January 2018.
