Michelle is a partner in the corporate and finance team of Carey Olsen in Bermuda and advises on all aspects of commercial and corporate law, with a particular focus on the insurance and asset management sectors.

Michelle has considerable experience advising on public and private mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, reinsurance transactions, regulatory matters, corporate governance issues, debt and equity capital markets transactions, and corporate restructurings and reorganizations.

Prior to joining Carey Olsen, Michelle worked in the London office of international law firm Reed Smith LLP, in both the investment funds and private equity real estate teams.

Michelle was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2016 (currently non-practising) and was called to the Bermuda Bar in 2019. Michelle became a partner in 2024.

Michelle obtained a Master of Arts (LPC with Business) from BPP University, a LLB from King's College London and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Waterloo.
