Wrigleys Solicitors LLP
About
As a leading specialist practice outside of London, Wrigleys has embraced the modern era while upholding the traditions and beliefs which have marked the firm out as distinct from its peers in a crowded legal market. We are recognised as experts in our specialist areas and give practical, common sense, and technically excellent advice to our clients with whom we foster valued long-term relationships. We attribute the firm’s success to a clear and consistent identity: a reliable, enduring niche practice delivering service with understated quality.
The firm was founded in 1996 as a niche private client, charity, and trust law practice. The founding members previously worked at a large national practice but increasingly found the culture and cost base of larger firms unsuitable for private and charity clients. As a result, they took care to design a firm that would serve these clients effectively, offering a more personal and long-term approach.
The firm is unique in limiting its work to private client, charities, and trusts (with related niche areas including agriculture, pensions, ecclesiastical and education). We strive to maintain an optimal environment for these work types and have chosen to avoid other practice areas which would dilute our focus. The firm therefore does not practice in litigation, family law or mainstream commercial work, and where asked we will put clients in contact with reputable and cost-effective advisers elsewhere.
The firm’s approach has proven successful, resulting in strong organic growth driven primarily by the quality of our work and word-of-mouth recommendations. Our aim is to consolidate our position as the leading firm in specific niche areas and to encourage colleagues to innovate within related emerging areas. Above all, we aim to cultivate first rate specialists in their chosen fields and to manage the firm in a way that brings out the best in them, delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. We have a strong record of differentiating from other firms and have attracted excellent colleagues who enjoy our non-corporate environment. We have been successful in bringing nationally recognised specialists to the firm, attracted to working in a more flexible and collegiate environment.
