Position

Ken has wide ranging experience of all aspects of restructuring, insolvency and turnaround work, with an emphasis on transactional and advisory work.

He has advised lenders, insolvency practitioners, companies and directors, creditors and stakeholders for many years, operating across a wide variety of industries and business sectors.

Ken has spent time on secondment with a national lender in the UK and with the high value restructuring team at a leading overseas bank.

Trained Edge & Ellison, Birmingham (now part of Squire Patton Boggs); qualified 1993; assistant solicitor 1993-2000; partner 2000-05 Edge & Ellison/Hammonds (following merger); 2005-11 partner Sprecher Grier Halberstam (now part of Shakespeare Martineau); 2011 partner Gateley.

Conversational French and Spanish.

Leisure

Ken enjoys travel and walking, with recent memorable trips including a tour around Japan and a hike to Everest Base Camp. He is a keen follower of Birmingham City FC.
