Career

Paul Morris is a senior litigator with extensive experience in complex and serious crime, advising and defending on a range of criminal matters including homicide, sexual offences, blackmail, drugs offences, various degrees of assault and financial crime.

Paul provides advice from the early stages of an investigation through to trial and merits of appeal. He also provides advice and assistance to potential witnesses or individuals that have received a request to attend court to give evidence or produce documents.

Areas of Expertise

Paul has particular experience in crisis and reputation management, advising professionals from the finance, music, medical, sports, political and teaching professions in relation to serious and complex investigations and prosecutions. As such, he is often called on to advise in parallel regulatory and/or disciplinary proceedings.

He provides expert and discreet representation to high-profile individuals, including those in the entertainment industry, on a range of serious criminal matters.

Career

Paul trained and then qualified in 1998 at a large provincial firm and then practised in a West End firm from 1999 to 2002. Paul has practised in leading criminal law firms and most notably, he developed and headed BCL Solicitors’ Serious and General Crime team for several years. Paul’s first class advice, strategic thinking and support for his clients sees him ranked  ‘Hall of Fame’ Legal 500 : Crime.
