Richard is a Partner in our banking and finance team.

He acts for a wide range of lenders (including clearing banks, challenger banks and alternative debt providers and debt funds), corporate borrowers and institutional investors in financing most aspects of corporate lending transactions.

Richard has particular expertise in acting on leveraged and structured finance transactions (including MBOs, MBIs and IBOs), as well as real estate investment and development finance.

He also has considerable experience in handling general corporate banking matters.

Over the past 15 years, Richard has acted for many of the largest corporates in the North West of England, as well as for growth businesses that needed advice and assistance with their financing requirements.

He also regularly handles matters with an international dimension and prior to joining us in 2019 worked for an international law firm.
