In 2005 Timur founded Rustem Guardian Solicitors which has quickly established itself as one of the leading defence firms in the country. To name but a few cases, Timur successfully defended one of the main defendants in the well-reported Microsoft fraud case, represented the 2 key defendants in the multi-million Mars PLC Fraud, and secured the release of a client wrongly detained for alleged involvement in an airline bombing plot.
Since founding Rustem Guardian, Timur has developed a reputable specialism in financial crime and sexual offences and has outstanding expertise in historic and multiple allegations. However, Timur has experienced considerable success in defending a wide range of complex crime cases, as a result of which he is regularly sought for comment on legal and social policies by prestigious media platforms across the country. Mr Rustem recently gave regular comment whilst instructed in the high-profile case defending Mr Marcus Coutain, whose case attracted global interest due to the attention on the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020.
