Career
Annie Beaumont, now a Partner in the Private Wealth & Succession team, has been at Blacks Solicitors since 2016 and brings a wealth of expertise in succession planning for business owners. After earning her Masters in Law from Northumbria University and completing her Training Contract, she qualified as a Solicitor in 2020.
Annie excels in Wills, probate, and Trusts, ensuring efficient asset transfer to the next generation. Annie can assist with the preparation and ongoing administration of life time trusts, as well as trusts created in a Will. Additionally, she collaborates with attorneys on financial management and care decisions for clients.
She has a niche focus on assisting Holiday and Home Park owners with tax-efficient succession planning. Annie works with the park owners, their next generation and their specialist advisers, to ensure that the park and their personal assets are handled in the most efficient manner. Annie is a key member of our Holiday and Home Parks team and has presented on succession planning for park owners on numerous occasions.
Annie is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) having completed an additional diploma with STEP, meaning that she specialises in trust and the administration of estates for complex trusts and estates.
Beyond her legal work, Annie is a Dementia Friends Champion, promoting a Dementia Friendly environment in Leeds, and holds a level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness. Her dedication was recognised when she received the Trainee Solicitor of the Year award at the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2019.
