The team also handles wrongful retention cases and defends child protection orders and permanency orders, as well as being involved in some unusual cases in which divorce proceedings are pursued in different courts or across multiple jurisdictions. Blackadders LLP has particular expertise advising clients on inheritance tax and lifetime planning, including setting up liferent trusts, managing assets held in multiple jurisdictions and liaising with HMRC about negligently valued property.
