Senior Associate and Deputy Head of Tourism and Leisure

Siobahn Sylvester is a senior associate within the disputes and regulatory team based in our Grimsby office.

She has experience of litigation experience and advises on all aspects of commercial disputes, taking the lead in the firm’s property litigation offering.

Siobahn regularly advises upon:

commercial lease renewals all aspects of the Landlord and Tenant Act 195 disputes arising out of breaches of lease obligations dilapidations injunctions and forfeiture land ownership and rights disputes including adverse possession, trespass, prescription, and rights of way

Siobahn has expert knowledge within the tourism and leisure sector, regularly assisting caravan park owners and users in disputes over occupation and licences.

Outside of work, Siobahn is a chair of governors for a local primary academy school that is part of a multi-academy trust.

She qualified as a solicitor in 2013 after successfully obtaining a 2:1 Law Degree from the University of Hull in 2009 and attaining a Distinction for the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 2010. She has worked for the firm since February 2016, being promoted to senior solicitor in June 2019.
