WFW enhances London dispute resolution practice with new partner hire
Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is pleased to announce that international arbitration expert Alexis Martinez has joined the firm as Partner in London. He was previously an International Dispute Resolution Partner at Squire Patton Boggs in the same city.
Qualified in both England & Wales and France, Alexis excels at resolving complex multi-jurisdictional disputes. His key areas of expertise focus on investment treaty arbitration and public international law, energy/gas price review arbitration and construction arbitration. His practice covers both commercial arbitration, which includes complex energy, construction, mining and financial disputes, and investor state arbitrations where he represents both investors and states.
Alexis’ clients include large state-owned and formerly state-owned energy companies as well as natural resources, construction and tech/defence companies located in Europe, Asia and Australia. He has also represented sovereign states.
