Morten is a partner and co-head of Bird & Bird's international Competition & EU group, and leads the practice in Denmark. He specialises in applying competition and EU law to achieve clear commercial outcomes for clients.

He has more than 12 years’ experience from Brussels and advises on state aid, anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance and merger control. Morten has acted in a number of landmark cases and has extensive experience representing clients before the EU Court of Justice.

His sector experience includes pharmaceuticals, media, IT, telecoms, transport and payment systems.

Morten is a member of the advisory board of the World Competition, Law and Economics Journal (Kluwer) and co-author of Guide to EU Pharmaceutical Regulatory Law.
