Julie is a partner in Bird & Bird's international Tech & Comms Group in Denmark, with extensive experience advising on IT, technology and telecommunications matters for both Nordic and international clients.

She specialises in IT law, including outsourcing, cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), licensing, implementation and operation of IT systems, as well as IT disputes and cybersecurity. Julie advises both suppliers and customers across the public and private sectors.

Julie also has strong expertise in telecommunications law, including regulatory matters and complex contractual arrangements such as MVNO/MVNE set-ups, interconnection agreements and data centre/colocation agreements.

With a strong international focus, she regularly supports Nordic-based companies on cross-border matters and leverages Bird & Bird’s global network to ensure seamless international delivery.

Her practice increasingly focuses on the intersection of connectivity and emerging technologies, including 5G, IoT, telemedicine and autonomous systems, as well as related data protection and cybersecurity issues.
