Morten is Head of Corporate / M&A in Copenhagen, with a particular focus on the tech & comms, retail & consumer, and media, entertainment & sports sectors.

His primary focus is on M&A, and he has extensive experience negotiating and advising on business transfers in the Danish market.

Morten has advised both Danish and international companies, as well as private equity funds, on M&A transactions. Over the past decade, he has advised on some of the most notable transactions in the Danish market, including multi-billion EUR deals.

Before specialising in M&A, Morten worked at one of Denmark’s leading IP law departments, which has given him significant insight into the business models and challenges of companies where IP rights are a key asset. He is therefore particularly strong in advising on M&A transactions involving such companies, including those within the tech, fashion, design and media industries.

As one of Denmark’s leading legal experts in sports and entertainment, Morten also has extensive experience advising film companies, production companies, advertising agencies and athletes on sports and entertainment law, including production agreements, player contracts, sponsorship agreements and management agreements.
