Kevin is an attorney in the Regulatory, Public & Administrative Law department in our Brussels office. He advises both Belgian and international clients on regulatory matters and public procurements across several sectors, advising clients at the intersection of government and business.

Kevin advises Belgian and international clients across various industries, including life sciences, energy, and defence, on both contentious and non-contentious matters.

His practice focuses on assisting clients with regulatory challenges and public procurement matters, including litigation. Working alongside our international offices, Kevin helps clients navigate complex cross-border issues involving authorisations, compliance strategies, and regulatory enforcement proceedings.

A significant part of his practice involves public procurement law, where Kevin assists companies and government entities throughout the procurement process: from analysing tender documentation and formulating strategic questions to procuring entities, through to court representation when disputes arise. This work encompasses procurements by national authorities as well as international organisations such as the European Union institutions, NATO, NSPA, the World Bank, and Interpol. Kevin is recognised in the legal directories as a Key Lawyer in handling public procurement matters (Legal 500, 2025).

Kevin also advises on emerging sustainability obligations, including compliance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and evolving environmental regulations.

Before joining Bird & Bird, Kevin worked at a prominent Belgian law firm, where he gained experience in matters involving the interplay between public authorities and businesses. During that time, his work covered public procurement, public finance, energy law, and aviation law, which helped him develop a broad understanding of the regulatory environment affecting both public and private sector organisations.

Beyond his practice, Kevin serves as an Assistant Professor in Public Economic Law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He is a regular speaker at industry events and conferences, and he actively contributes to legal scholarship through publications on administrative law, public procurement, and regulatory matters.
