Gagan Anand is currently the Managing Partner of Legacy Law Offices LLP and is the Senior Standing Counsel for the State of Himachal Pradesh. He oversees the operations of the Law Firm at a macro level. On the client servicing front, he is personally focused on executing a variety of assignments for international clientele in the sphere of developmental projects which includes multilateral funding agencies, foreign companies etc. He regularly serves as an Expert in the areas of Regulatory Frameworks, Public Procurement, Public Private Partnerships, Contracts, Business Laws and Dispute Resolution for leading Developmental Banks including the World Bank (IBRD) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in India and abroad. Each year, he personally handles a few selected high-stakes arbitration proceedings generally involving contentious claims exceeding INR 100 crores (USD 16 million). Besides being an established Developmental Law practitioner, he is also well recognised for his advice and mediation skills in the practice area of Family Law. His expertise is also well reflected in his role as the Vice Chair of the FIDIC Contracts Committee, where he has been an active contributor to the various model agreements surrounding the global construction and infrastructure sector.

A versatile legal practitioner, Raman was admitted as a member of the Bar in July 1970 and possesses 50 years of legal experience including 20 years as head of the law department of State Bank of India (SBI) at its head offices in Delhi and Chandigarh. During this period he dealt with important legal, regulatory and international matters related to the bank including mergers, amalgamations, vetting of project financing documents, arbitration, high value agreements as well as dealing with foreign exchange and commercial matters relating to the bank. Prior to joining the SBI, he practiced law in courts for 15 years with reference to civil and criminal law. He had the distinction of being nominated as a member of the legal Service and advice committee of Haryana by His Excellency, The Governor of Haryana.

Ms. Sadiqua Fatma is Senior Partner based at the Delhi office of our Law Firm and leads the Dispute Resolution practice of the law firm. She is a very passionate litigator who possesses more than 19 years experience of actively practicing on the Appellate and Original side of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in addition to appearing before the Consumer Courts, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) and Arbitral Tribunals. Sadiqua is credited with a very successful track record as a litigator, particularly practicing before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. She was appointed as an Amicus Curiae by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in a criminal matter. She has rich experience of dealing with tender, contracts, labour and service matters. She regularly represents construction companies in high stake arbitration cases. The versatility of Sadiqua’s legal skills and acumen are reflected in the corporate legal work handled by her across a variety of areas of practice which include Government Contracts, Bidding Documents & Contracts for Infrastructure Projects, Employment Contracts, Contracts for the protection of intellectual property rights, Information Technology Contracts and other such commercial contracts. She has been instrumental in rendering valuable advice in relation to a major Knowledge Park, large number of highways, railway stations, five star hotels, real estate projects etc.

Parveen Moudgil

Parveen K. Moudgil, Partner of the Legacy Law Offices is an alumnus of the Kurukshetra University in India. He is enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana and possesses over 21 years of hardcore litigation experience. He has been regularly appearing before the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commissions, District Courts in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Patiala, Jalandhar, Dalhousie, Solan etc. He filed number of Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against illegal mining, illegal release of acquired land to the politicians, unconstitutional appointment of Parliamentary Secretaries by the State Government etc. He also conducted the murder trial of the widely reported Vijay Singh Addl. Distt. Judge murder case. He successfully represented number of celebrity clients of the Law Firm including bollywood film stars, Padam Shree Awardee etc. in Civil and Criminal litigation matters. Nandish Munjal, an Associate Advocate at Legacy Law Offices LLP, is an alumnus of Panjab University and an ardent young lawyer. With an inclination to work in the field of corporate and commercial laws, Nandish has been indispensable to the General Corporate Practice Team of Legacy. His role at the firm involves providing valuable assistance on various national and international projects of the firm, providing corporate advisory services as well as facilitating the Firm's practice in the practice area of Doing Business in India. In addition to these roles, Nandish has also acted as a Legal Advisor to the "Defining Humanity" Organisation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Shalini Munjal possesses more than 29 years of rich professional work experience as a legal practitioner. Her practice areas include Contracts & Commercial Laws including Contract Management concerning developmental projects. However, her forte is Transactional Support for Infrastructure & Real Estate Projects across diverse sectors. She possesses extensive experience in legal matters pertaining to EPC as well as PPP Contracts in a variety of Infrastructure Sectors including Roads & Bridges, Transport, Urban, Sports Industrial, Integrated Townships, Tourism, Health, Education etc. She has rendered legal services for facilitating Bid Process Management and successful Financial Closure of a number of Infrastructure Projects. Earlier, Shalini also served as an in-house counsel of the Punjab Infrastructure Development Board for a period of 4 years wherein she gained extensive experience pertaining to infrastructure-related legislation, development of PPP projects & financing thereof, including administering of Toll Road Concession Agreements, EPC Contracts for construction of roads and O&M Contracts for maintenance of roads.
