Professional Background

Mr. Zheng started his legal practice career in 1992, as an associate in Guangzhou Commerce & Real Estates Law Firm, and as a founder partner in Guangdong Chaser Law Firm. He joined Hylands Law Firm as a partner in 2010 and established Hylands’ Guangzhou office as the director up to now.

Since 1992, Mr. Zheng has advised hundreds of multinational and domestic clients on various corporation transactions and represented some of them in litigation and international arbitration. Typically, he is good at foreign investment, securities, real estate, M&A and other general corporate practices. His clients cover real estate, manufacturing sectors, aerosol industry, IT industry, wholesale & retail sectors, etc. He provided legal service in assisting the establishment of Guangzhou Future Exchange Company, the first mixed-ownership future exchange in China.

Mr. Zheng has been very active in many social and professional organizations such as TerraLex and Amcham South-China. Mr. Zheng’s working language are Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) and English.
