Advising and representing Lapis India Capital on arbitration proceedings concerning defaults by promoters in developing certain infrastructure projects and providing an exit to funds aggregating to over INR 2.6 billion.

Advising and representing Sony Pictures Network India Private Limited on a copyright infringement suit filed before the Bombay High Court against soap opera, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’, putting the client at a risk aggregating to INR 400 million.

Representing Sony Pictures Network India Private Limited on various litigations, including: (i) its challenges to statutory instruments issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India; (ii) a writ petition before the Bombay High Court challenging the order of Competition Commission of India to initiate investigation on the basis of a complaint filed by Noida Software Technology Park Ltd; and (iii) a commercial intellectual property suit before the Bombay High Court for infringement and passing off Sony marks and infringement of broadcast reproduction rights in relation to the FIFA World Cup.
