Michael is a Partner BTO’s Corporate team in Edinburgh, focusing on all aspects corporate law and charity law.

He has impressive experience of advising businesses in a wide spectrum of services and sectors.

Michael supports commercial clients to set up, purchase, grow and sell businesses, as well as establishing joint ventures and advising on contracts generally.

His work in the charity sector extends to preparing governing documents, managing applications for registration of new charities, implementing reorganisation schemes for older charities and helping charity trustees through regulatory inquiries.

Michael is a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 UK 2025 in the Corporate & M&A and Sport categories.
