Jee Yun graduated from Multimedia University with LLB (Hons) in 2014. He completed his pupillage in Messrs Teo & Chew and was called to the Bar on 8 July 2015. He was exposed to criminal, banking and general litigation matters when he was chambering and Practicing in Messrs Teo & Chew until 2017.

He moved to Messrs Ting Asiah & Co from 2017 to 2018 and then Messrs Ghazi & Lim from 2018 to 2019 practising as Conveyancing Lawyer and assisted the partners of the said firms in handling Developer’s Sale and Sub-sale Agreements, preparing Housing & Commercial Loans’ Documentations, Tenancy Agreements and other conveyancing matters.

Among the significant works that he has attended to were the following:

Assisted in a legal due diligence exercise on a Malaysian company in relation to a proposed initial public offering and listing on the Ace Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Assisted in a legal due diligence exercise in a Proposed Selective Capital Reduction and delisting of a public listed company in Malaysia. Assisted in a legal due diligence exercise in a unconditional mandatory take-over offer of a public listed company in Malaysia. Assisted in a legal due diligence exercise in a Proposed Rights Issue of Irredeemable Convertible Preference Shares and Employees' Share Option Scheme of a public listed company in Malaysia. Assisted in the preparation of loan and security documents in relation to the project financing facilities granted by Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad and Malayan Banking Berhad to its borrowers. Assisted in the preparation of discharge documents for the discharge of securities in relation to the project financing facilities granted by Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad to its borrowers.

He subsequently joined Azmi & Associates in August 2019 and is now part of our Capital & Debt Market Practice Group under the supervision of our Co-Deputy Managing Partner, Serina Abdul Samad. He was recently elevated as Partner of the Firm on 1 April 2025.
