A Partner in our specialist Private Client team, Rachel advises individuals and families on a range of personal issues including the drafting of Wills and Powers of Attorney, Executry administration matters (often involving cross-border elements), Trust administration and Inheritance Tax planning.

Rachel has a particular interest in advising high net-worth and international clients on tax efficient succession planning and asset protection. She often works closely with foreign legal and financial advisers to ensure clients receive a holistic approach to their multi-jurisdictional estate planning. Her considered and sensitive approach is welcomed by many clients and has resulted in a growing client base, both in Scotland and further afield.

Rachel holds a STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax Planning for International Clients and attained a Distinction in the STEP Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Private Wealth Advice in January 2025.

Rachel is an accredited member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the leading worldwide professional body for practitioners in the field of trust and estate planning, having completed the Diploma in Trusts and Estates (Scotland) in July 2021
