Career
Attorney Peng previously served as Presiding Judge of the Second Civil Trial Division and Deputy Director of the Case Filing Division at Chengdu Intermediate People's Court, accumulating 16 years of judicial experience. She began her legal career at Sichuan Kangwei Law Firm in 2015 and joined Beijing Zhongyin (Chengdu) Law Firm in 2022, where she has been working since. Attorney Peng also serves as an adjunct professor at the Law School of Southwest Minzu University. With extensive practical experience accumulated through long-term commercial litigation practice, she has conducted in-depth research and developed distinctive perspectives on adjudicating cases involving the Contract Law of the People's Republic of China and the Company Law of the People's Republic of China. She has presided over numerous complex financial lending contract disputes, corporate litigation cases, as well as bankruptcy liquidation and compulsory liquidation proceedings. Her outstanding professional achievements have earned her multiple commendations, including the title of "Advanced Individual in Sichuan's Political and Legal System" in 2012.

Attorney PENG has built a distinguished legal career more than 30 years, with recognized expertise in commercial dispute resolution, financial lending, and mergers and acquisitions. With academic training in both law and economics, she brings a rare combination of sharp analytical thinking and exceptional legal writing to her practice.Before entering private practice, attorney PENG served for 16 years at the Chengdu Intermediate People’s Court, where she developed deep expertise in adjudicating complex civil and commercial matters. Over the course of her judicial career, she steadily advanced through a series of increasingly senior roles—from clerk, to judge, to presiding judge, and ultimately deputy chief judge of the second case filing division. Notably, none of the cases she adjudicated were reversed or retried by higher courts—underscoring her judicial precision and authority.During her time on the bench, she published a well-regarded article titled The Fact That Two Legal Persons Share the Same Shareholders Does Not Constitute a Basis for Corporate Personality Confusion through the People’s Court Press. She was awarded First Prize—one of only two awarded—in a province-wide civil judgment writing competition hosted by the Sichuan High People’s Court and received multiple honors at the 13th and 17th Sichuan Court Academic Symposiums.
In recognition of her contributions to judicial excellence, attorney PENG was awarded Third-Class Merit by the Chengdu Intermediate People’s Court and was named an “Outstanding Individual” by both the Sichuan Provincial Political and Legal Affairs Commission and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security.
Her deep judicial experience and subject-matter expertise have laid a solid foundation for her work as a lawyer, especially in banking, finance, and complex litigation matters.
After becoming a lawyer, attorney PENG served as a partner and deputy director at Canway Law Firm, Sichuan, which for many years ranked first in the province in terms of per-lawyer revenue. She currently also holds several public and professional roles, including adjunct professor at the Law School of Southwest Minzu University, independent director of Luzhou Rural Commercial Bank.
