Neela Badami is a partner at Samvad Partners and is based in Bangalore. She has been with Samvad Partners since 2009. Her focus areas are venture capital and private equity transactions, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate/commercial advisory (for domestic and global clients, on domestic and cross-border transactions). Neela works extensively with venture capital and private equity funds; start-ups, mid size and large companies; and start-up accelerators and incubators. Neela has experience across various sectors including ITES, fintech, e-commerce and healthcare.

Neela holds a B.A., B.L (Hons.) degree from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) University of Law, Hyderabad (2005, Gold Medallist). She holds an LL.M from the University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor, U.S.A (2008, Michigan Grotius Scholar).
