One of modern India’s core identities is its diversity which is reflected in its religions, ethnicities, customs and social structures. This diversity and pluralism are respected, adopted and celebrated at Singh & Associates, and also forms one of our core strengths. It creates and fosters a vibrant and dynamic workplace and culture that is open to new ideas and is quick to adopt and adapt innovations, as well as is the foundation of a robust democratic set-up.

Gender Diversity – S&A is an equal opportunities workplace providing growth opportunities to all, irrespective of their colour, caste or gender. Cultural and gender diversity at S&A is visibly manifested in the composition of our team. S&A maintains a fair balance of gender equality in the organization; we are one of the few early movers in the domain of Indian law firms where accomplished women lawyers hold the offices of Managing Partners. The firm encourages organic and upwards growth of all its employees, irrespective of their gender.

Our inclusivity policies go beyond just the hiring and recruitment; the firm’s leadership ensures that the participation of all employees is equal commensurate only to their abilities. We value and appreciate the contribution of each individual across all level of work, which helps and boosts confidence, engagement and ownership.  The leadership team of S&A under the supervision of Mr Manoj K Singh, Founding Partner, S&A encourage workplace diversity to improve creativity and innovation at work, which result in increments in individual productivity, retention and ownership toward the work.

Inclusivity, Equality & Pro Bono Services: S&A also supports working for equality for all. S&A is highly active in undertaking Pro Bono work as we believe that it is a real selfless service which transforms an individual’s life, one individual at a time. It builds empathy and gives exposure and education that is necessary for inclusivity to thrive.

Our leadership is highly engaged and recognized for the Pro Bono work in their respective practice areas in various domestic and international matters. S&A believes that a commitment to the broader community is essential to provide the highest quality legal services and maximize opportunities for personal and professional development. Our legal professionals, at all levels and in all practice groups, work side-by-side to bring practical solutions to individuals and communities often denied access to justice and equal opportunity. In the process, we also support various educational initiatives, NGOs and other sections of society. Mr Singh is an active partner in Advocates for International Development, undertaking pro bono legal work for non-profit organizations addressing poverty in India. Every year, he takes ten fresh lawyers under his mentorship and guides them to the best of his abilities – this is his way of giving back to his fraternity.

Turnaround Time: The turnaround time of S&A is very minimal. Sometimes, I am surprised how they are able to deliver so quickly. They understand complex legal issues in a very short time.

Overall Services: Our experience with S&A is extremely satisfying. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience and they are happy to share the same with all the clients. The biggest advantage I have found in working with S&A is that apart from having a sound understanding of law, they have an extremely high commercial and business sense. This is not the case with many law firms. I found that particularly in the field of EPC and Construction Contracts, S&A has the expertise in financial, engineering and business aspects as well, besides the expertise on legal issues.  Further, S&A is always abreast of the developments in the legal filed across the globe, which is an added advantage.

Individual Person:

Manoj Kumar Singh:  The best brain on any dispute in the field of construction. He has expertise in law, finance and technical aspects of construction.
