Mazin offers expert legal counsel to international, regional, and local stakeholders in the shipping, commodities, and offshore sectors. As a senior litigator, he brings extensive experience in handling complex disputes, including those related to commodities, charterparties, cargo claims, logistics, asset tracing and recovery, fraud, bankruptcy, insurance and commercial conflicts.

Mazin has advised one of the world's largest commodity traders on legal strategies for a high-profile USD 600 million commodity fraud case, covered by major media outlets like the Financial Times and Reuters. He also represented a state-owned oil and gas company in a USD 225 million shareholder loan dispute before the Dubai Courts. Additionally, Mazin defended clients against a USD 400 million claim involving a European tax authority before the Dubai Courts. Throughout his career, he has acted for international shipowners on liability limitation, contributing to landmark decisions in the Dubai World Tribunal and Jordanian Courts, establishing limitation funds in both jurisdictions.

With a wealth of experience in prosecuting and defending claims across all levels of Middle Eastern courts, Mazin also excels in arbitrations under LMAA and DIFC-LCIA rules. He is qualified in England and Wales and serves as a registered legal consultant in the United Arab Emirates.
