Rob is a commercial disputes lawyer with nearly 20 years’ experience, specialising in property-related disputes and litigation.

He has extensive experience acting for landlords and tenants in complex leasing disputes and litigation, as well as in general property disputes. His litigation experience includes large-scale Supreme Court proceedings involving lease make good claims, obtaining and defending injunctive relief to prevent the drawing down of bank guarantees, building defects, nuisance cases, lease termination and re-possession, land acquisitions, rent review disputes, exercise of lease options, recovery of rental arrears and loss of bargain damages and the appointment of trustees to sell property held as joint tenants.

In addition to litigation, Rob regularly advises on non-litigious property disputes arising from the sale and acquisition of land, including disputes involving options, sunset clauses in off-the-plan contracts, misleading and deceptive conduct, estoppel, disclosures in contracts for sale and material changes to lots. He also has experience in all aspects of leasing, compulsory acquisition of land, caveats, easements, possessory title, removal of support for land and insolvency litigation.
