Martin has over 25 years’ experience acting for publicly listed and multinational corporations, including shopping centre owners and managers, banks, insurers, manufacturers, and other business enterprises on complex and multifaceted legal matters. He specialises in commercial dispute resolution, with a particular focus on property and leasing disputes.

Martin has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, and is an experienced mediator acting both as a party representative and as an independent mediator. In 2004, he was appointed to the panel of the NSW Retail Tenancy Unit, reflecting his expertise in retail leasing and related property matters.

His specialist areas of practice include retail leasing disputes, property-based disputes, franchising disputes, commercial real estate, competition and consumer law, contract law, compliance, corporate law, strategic advice in managing complex commercial issues and alternative dispute resolution.
