Ms. Jia is a Partner of Haiwen & Partners. Ms. Jia has a Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in the U.S.  She is registered before the Chinese Patent Office and is licensed to practice law in both China and the State of California. She is experienced in handling IP litigations and cross border IP transactions.

Ms. Jia joined Haiwen in April 2022 as a Partner.  Before joining Haiwen, she worked at Zhonglun Law Firm from 2013 to 2022, and worked at a top patent agency from 2008 to 2013.

Ms. Jia received her B.S. in physics from Jilin University in 2001, and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the U.S. in 2007, and worked as a postdoc in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 2007-2008.
