Mr. Beltran joined Villaraza & Angangco in 2014 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2018. He was promoted to Partner in 2022.

Mr. Beltran has rendered due diligence of companies across various industries in relation to mergers and acquisitions and has handled preparation and negotiation of documents related to said transactions. He has experience in the preparation of notification requirements related to mergers and acquisitions and has represented clients before the Philippine Competition Commission.

Mr. Beltran also has extensive experience rendering legal advice for various companies (local and foreign) in the energy industry, including preparation and review of contracts relating to development of energy projects and assistance in compliance with regulatory requirements.  He has participated in multiple project financing deals involving major Philippine energy companies and Philippine commercial banks for financing of construction of power plants in the Philippines.

Mr. Beltran has also assisted in the preparation of legal advice and submission of documents on various projects involving government procurement, government joint ventures, and other modes of public-private partnership.

Mr. Beltran also advises foreign companies from multiple industries in structuring their proposed investments in the Philippines and has assisted them in establishing their presence in the Philippine market. He also regularly performs corporate secretarial and general legal retainer work for various corporations (local and foreign).

Recently, Mr. Beltran has also rendered legal advice for clients on matters involving financial technology and data privacy.
