Junior Associate

Atty. Juan Miguel F. Lopez joined Villaraza & Angangco as an Associate and member of the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on dispute resolution, particularly civil, criminal, and commercial litigation. He is also part of teams handling real property disputes, tax controversies, tariff-related cases, and suits involving government officials. 

Prior to joining the Firm in 2025, Atty. Lopez was an associate in a Makati-based law firm where he represented individual and corporate clients in civil, criminal, and labor cases. His early law practice likewise included representing clients before various quasi-judicial bodies and participation in arbitration proceedings. He also advised and represented domestic and multinational companies on both corporate and labor regulatory matters.

During his time in law school, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of The Red Chronicles, San Beda College Alabang- School of Law’s official law student publication. He was also part of the Legal Internship Program of the Office of the Solicitor General.

Atty. Lopez was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023.
