Career

Sung Il Yoon is a senior attorney at Kim & Chang who serves as a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group and Finance Department.

Mr. Yoon has advised companies on various employment and labor-related matters, including, but not limited to, employee discipline and termination, employee benefits, downsizing, and post-acquisition integration and restructuring. Mr. Yoon has an expertise in advising companies on labor-related disputes raised by employees or labor unions and advising clients on issues relating to the development and implementation of the HR/IR strategies in line with the business goals.

Mr. Yoon also has extensive experience in advising banks and financial institutions on banking and financial regulatory matters and litigations. He has actively participated as counsel to both domestic and international companies for overseas bond or securities offering by Korean entities including consulting on Korean regulations and advised on structural matters to issuers or managers in domestic and global structured finance transactions.
