Sang Bum Jin is an attorney at Kim & Chang. Based on his extensive experience as a judge, he primarily handles litigation and legal advisory work in various fields, including banking, securities & finance litigation, corporate & M&A litigation, and insurance litigation.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Jin served as a judge and presiding judge for 28 years at various court levels, and dealt with a wide range of cases in multiple fields. He has experienced all the tasks of first trial, appellate trial, and appeal by the Supreme Court of Korea. Particularly, during his seven-year tenure as a research judge at the Supreme Court, he handled numerous Supreme Court cases, including banking, securities and financial disputes, M&A and corporate governance disputes, and insurance litigations.
