Litigation and Dispute Resolution has been a focus of the firm since its inception in 1948, and our highly experienced team is widely recognised for its skill in this area. The firm deals with a broad range of commercial disputes ranging from contractual disputes, commercial fraud, injunctive relief, dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration, intellectual property, construction disputes, property litigation and negligence including professional negligence. Our team is experienced in providing smart, tactical solutions that enable us to resolve disputes at the earliest opportunity, while ensuring our clients’ interests are always protected. Ronald Fletcher Baker attracts a diverse client base from financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals and substantial freehold corporate investors, as a result of which the firm has considerable expertise acting for corporate investors based in the BVI, Bahamas, Mauritius, Seychelles, Turkey and Isle of Man. This department also acts for sellers and buyers, and buy-to-let investors, many based overseas. The department has special experience of the more complex flat schemes and leasehold enfranchisement in Central London, and also has particular expertise in acting in high-value hotel purchases. The firm is also regularly instructed in big-ticket transactions.

Often sought out by asset managers, investors, social enterprises and charities, developers and individuals (including ultra-high net worth individuals) seeking assistance across both the residential and commercial spaces, the Team are regularly instructed in a variety of matters relating to: property portfolio work, development and redevelopments, such as vacant possession strategies, property litigation boundary disputes and forfeiture/possession proceedings.
