Mateusz is a Polish-qualified legal advisor and an English-qualified solicitor. Mateusz is a partner in the Capital Markets and Mergers and Acquisitions practice groups of SSW. He possesses considerable experience in the Polish banking sector, having acted as General Counsel of Poland’s second-largest bank. He also has broad experience in board level matters and securities law and disclosure matters of public companies.

In the field of Capital Markets, Mateusz advises Polish and international issuers and underwriters on private and public equity and debt offerings (including high-yield and structured debt transactions). In the field of Mergers and Acquisitions, Mateusz focuses on advising corporates and private equity investors on both public and private market transactions with a strong focus on complex multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Prior to joining SSW, Mateusz worked for leading law firms in the UK and Singapore (Ashurst) and Poland (Dewey & LeBoeuf, Greenberg Traurig and Gide Loyrette Noel).
