Managing Partner

Piotr is the Founding and the Managing Partner of SSW. In addition to facilitating numerous complex transactions, he has advised a wide range of entities operating in regulated sectors and participated in international arbitration proceedings with a total value exceeding USD 1 billion. Piotr has been active in the energy and mining industries for over 20 years. He has been recognised by Rzeczpospolita, Poland’s leading daily newspaper, as a top lawyer in energy and natural resources.

He began his career managing legal matters for ExxonMobil in Poland, contributing to both downstream and upstream operations. Piotr is a former board member of the Warsaw Arbitration Court Lewiatan, a former member of the supervisory board of the Mining Industry Employers Association, and a former member of the steering committee of the Polish Wind Energy Association.

In private practice, Piotr has established himself as the go-to lawyer for exploration and mining activities in Poland, with very few competitors in this field. As a result, he has been involved in all major natural resource projects in the country.
