Kate has 12 years’ experience as a Mediator and is a Resolution trained family law Mediator. She has practised solely as a Family Mediator since 2019, taking a side step from full time practice as a lawyer.  She practised as a Solicitor for 9 years with Penningtons Manches and then with CHR Family Solicitors. She has worked with clients with a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances on their financial and child arrangements.

Divorce and separation is never easy, but Kate believes in a client focused outlook that promotes a conciliatory approach wherever possible.  She has become increasingly convinced by mediation as a powerful tool to enable clients to reach their own decisions through discussion.  By providing a safe and positive space for people to communicate about the sensitive issues that arise, she helps parties look towards lasting and effective solutions.
